But here’s the secret: builders are stepping up with some wild incentives—and it could save you hundreds every month. I’ve personally been meeting with several local builders over the past few months and have helped several buyers take advantage of these great offers.
Right now, some builders are offering interest rates as low as 4.75% to 5.25% when you use their preferred lender. That’s a full two points lower than the average market rate.
Let’s Break It Down (this is just an example and not real data):
1) $300,000 Home with 5% Down
At 6.75% (market rate):
Monthly principal & interest = $1,848
At 4.75% (builder incentive):
Monthly principal & interest = $1,487
